I have passed graduation with 57.7% with science subject and already passed B.Ed.. And want to appear in 1st year post graduation in 2017. So can i be eligible for the UGC NET exam of December 2017?

If you complete two semesters of your masters degree and get entry into third semester before December 2017, then you will be eligible for UGC NET 2017 exam, because final year of masters degree candidates are eligible for UGC NET 2017 exam.
Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for UGC NET exam 2017.

There are no age criteria. But for JRF post, your age should be below 28 years.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This examination is now conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of University Grants Commission. You must meet following eligibility criteria to apply for this exam:

*Master's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates can apply for this examination.

*Candidate must have 55% marks in post graduation. For reserved category candidates, there is 5% relaxation in marks.

You can not apply for NET exam in first year of master's degree.

According to eligibility criteria defined by UGC NET,
Only those candidates can apply for UGC NET Exam, who are currently in the final year of their post graduation. In this case, the candidates will be admitted provisionally and they will have to complete their PG degree within two years from the date of the NET result with the required percentage.

As you will be in the first year of your Master's degree, so you cannot appear for UGC NET Exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and the same examination is held by CBSE twice every year for recruitment as Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor.

--> The minimum educational requirement for appearing in the same examination is a Master's degree in any one of Humanities, Social Science, Science, Technical and subjects related to the same with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a UGC recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is applicable for reserved category candidates and candidates which have completed their PHD degree before 1991. Students appearing in the final year of their Master's degree are also eligible for appearing in the same examination.

A candidates graduation and post- graduation subject should be similar and they can appear in NET for the same subject only.

No, you are not eligible to appear for UGC NET examination. UGC conducts entrance examination for recruitment of candidates as lecturer in government colleges.
