Apart from being a graduate, candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years. Now, as per your question, its true that Electronics Engineering is not in the list of the optional subjects for the Main Exam, you will have to select any two subjects depending upon your knowledge and expertise in fields apart from Electronics Engineering. As far as selection of optional subject is concerned, there is no restriction on the basis of stream, which means that candidate from engineering background may select optional subjects from Arts as well as from Commerce stream. However, few combination of subjects are not allowed and they are as follows: Any two branches of engineering Management and Public Administration Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science Political Science & International Relations and Public Administration Commerce and Management Anthropology and Sociology Maths and Statistics Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Complete list of optional subjects for the Main Exam: Agriculture Mathematics-Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science-Mechanical Engineering-Botany-Medical Science-Chemistry-Philosophy-Civil Engineering-Physics-Commerce-Political Science-Economics-Psychology-Electrical Engineering-Public Administration-Geography-Sociology-Geology-Statistics,Indian History-Zoology-Law. |
