Dear Friend

If you are a graduate then you can directly apply for 2nd level exam i.e.
PCC Professional Competency Course provided that you are a;
Commerce Graduate and have 50% in graduation or,
Non-Commerce graduate with Mathematics and have scored 60% in graduation or,
Non-Commerce graduate with subjects other than Mathematics and have scored 55% in graduation.

If you are a graduate and you don't fulfill the above criteria then you will have to start
from the first level exam i.e. Competency Professional Test(CPT) after than you can
register for PCC.

yes you can appear for CPT and go on to become a CA,

minimum score required is 50% in graduation or for non commerce students with maths

with 55%

Also the course is a really well designed one and ICAI provides you with sufficient

study material on enrolment, however it is considered tough, and you should study with full concentration and take mock papers.

Common Profieciency Test [CPT] does not demand for any minimum pass percentage and hence you can surely apply for the test.

Chartered Accountancy course is divided into 3 stages :

IPCC
FINAL

In order to become CA you need to pass every exam in minimum time. Though the syllabus is huge and takes a minimum of 4 years, you may even complete in 3years. The minimum time you take the greater is the advantage for you.
