KAS stands for Karnataka A dministrative Service.

Karnataka Public Service Commission conducting this exam every year once.

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant must have to degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

For KAS exam final year graduation appearing candidates are also eligible.

The candidate should be an Indian origin.

KAS examination does'nt need any percentage restrictions.


Age criteria and details:-

For General category candidates--> 21 to 30 years,

For OBC category candidates--> 21 to 33 years,

For SC/ST category candidates--> 21 to 35years.


Stages in Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.

General Studies related to state importance ; 40 questions ,60 marks

General Science & tech , Environmental & ecology : 30 questions , 60 Marks

Age Criteria:

The candidate minimum age limit is 21 years and candidate maximum age limit is 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories as per govt rules. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC and 5 years for the Sc/St. And 10 years for PH.

7 for OBC

no limit for SC/ST.
