As per my knowledge you are not eligible for NDA exam. Because they want normal eye sight. So sorry dear you are not eligible for NDA sector.
Your Eye sight is NOT normal so this is very difficult to join NDA. THE EYESIGHT PARAMETER FOR EYE SIGHT So you can try for other Defence sector because Defence our best property. Don't worry you can get others jobs. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted By UPSC, Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.
But You have to be Medically and Physically fit in all the Respects to apply for NDA Examination, If you have habitually wear spectacles or your Eyesight very week then you are not eligible for Air Force Wings of NDA. To apply for NDA Examination you have to fulfill the given Eligibility Criteria: For Army Wings : ------------- >> You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. >> Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and Hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. Vision standard for Naval candidates : ------------------------------- >> Uncorrected without glass : 6/9 >> Corrected with glass : 6/6 >> Limits of Myopia : -0.75 >> Limits of Hypermetropia : +1.5 >> Binocular vision III >> Limits of colour preception I Visual standards for Air Force: ------------------------- >> Minimum distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other >> correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia >> Colour vision CP-I >> Hypermetropia : + 2.0 D Sph >> Manifest Myopia : Nil. If you want to apply for NDA exam you should be very health conscious , in this there is first requirement for Height & weight . The eye sight also plays a vital role in this ..... i am providing you a details . NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection. I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for N.D.A exam with low eye sight. In my opinion you should try N.D.A exam you may get some time for Improve you eye sight if you qualify the N.D.A written and Interview. N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. Eligibility criteria:- > Pass 12th with recognized university > Age limit:-16.5-19 year. > Must be citize of India > Medically fit IMPORTANT DATES FOR N.D.A. & N.A. Sorry friend, You are not eligible for NDA examination. As you are not going with the criteria NDA criteria details : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate should complete 12th standard examination 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian 4.Eyesight criteria : Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6. You should not have any color blindness 5.Height criteria : The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm. |

if your eye sight in the either eye is not weaker than -2.5, +3.5 you can apply for army officer. for navy max. limit is +0.75 d , -0.75d. for airforce you haveto be perfectly okay regarding your eye sight

I am sorry to say the are not eligible for NDA exam with low eye sight. Than choice for and my opinion you should try NDA exam you may get some time for improve you eye sight if you qualify the NDA exam written test. Eye sight you should have eyesight 6/6. Eligible 10+12th passed with maths and physics subjects, any recognized university, This exam upsc conducted. Three wing. Army wing Navy wing Airforce wing. Selection prosecess. 1. Written exam. 2.
