i have -6 power in both my eyes. can i get a govt job?...please esnd to me the details

As you have mentioned in the query that you have very weak eye sight. You are presently wearing glasses of power 6. It is really a matter of concern.

Even you may get government job. Provided that you should have better vision after wearing glasses prescribed by the doctor. Exceptionally, you will not eligible for few government jobs with this poor eye sight such as police service, military and para- military forces etc.

You should take proper medical follow-up from specialist opthalmologist in this regard. Try to find out or diagnose the root cause behind poor eye sight.

Also go for ayurvedic treatment simultaneously. There are many herbs in ayurveda which directly and effectively improves the eye sight wirhout any side-effect.

Perform few specific yogic postures (shirshashan, sarvangashan etc) and Pranayams (anulom-vilom, kapal-baati etc) really works wonder in improving eye sight.

At last, one should take balanced diet, seasonal fruits, dried fruits etc in order to have good eye sight.

I have an eyesight of 3.5 in left eye and 4.0 in right eye. If I correct it with laser treatment and gone for ALP medical test, Is there any chance of selecting?

Before entering Government service you have to pass medical test. If your weak eyesight corrected with lenses fit the norm you can get in. Otherwise you have to try disable persons quota. Even for that there are some norms. If you fit in them you will get visually challenged Certificate. Some jobs are reserved for such persons.

If your vision is poor more than 40% , will consider as visually disabled and under this 1% of quota you may get Government jobs.
