sir, my eyesight is weak and I want to join NDA. My left eye no. is 1.5 and that of right eye is 1.25.tell me can i get eligible for NDA, if not then tell me what atmost can I do.

NDA exam stands for national defence academy which is conducted by upsc[IMG]www.nda.nic.in/nda-images/logo.jpg[/IMG] twice in a year.
NDA exam is conducted into following wings:-
Indian army
Indian air force
Indian navy
Nda exam eligibility:-
>you must be 12th standard from a recognized university.
Pcm subject for navy and air force wing.
You must be unmarried male and indian citizen.
Eye sight:-
For Army:
Eyesight: To read distant objects clearly.
Myopia: Should not more than 2.5 D.
For Navy:
Eyesight: 6/6.
Myopia: Not to exceed .75 D in either eye.
For Air Force:
Eyesight: 6/6.
Myopia: Nil.

* NDA Stands for National Defence Academy.

* The NDA Exam is conducted every year twice by the Union Public Service Commission namely as NDA-I & NDA-II.

Now as per your query i would like to tell you that you are not eligible for the exam because the eyesight you should have in order to be eligible is 6/6.

So , very sorry to say but you are not allowed to be eligible for Defence Services.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy .This exam is conducted by UPSC twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with science departments are applicable for NDA exam(for all wings).

But Commerce and Arts students are applicable only for Indian Army wings.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no age relaxation criteria for SC/ST criteria.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.Also you must have citizenship of India.

I have attached the file for eye-sight criteria.so please check it out.So you can try for different kind of jobs.



Maximum time they reject the candidate of eye-sight problem.You must checked the criteria of eye-sight .If you have matched it then you can definitely applicable.

Color blind candidate are strongly not eligible but you have some chances for NDA .If you have qualify the eye-sight exam.

If you are satisfy the eligibility criteria and Vision standards and then you are eligible to apply for NDA examination.

A Candidate who have completed their 12th Science with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from recognized board are eligible for NDA Exam.......

Only Unmarried Male Can apply for it.....

Age of Candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.....

A candidate have Nationality of INDIA.....

NDA conducted in Three wings:

1. Indian Army
   
2. Indian Navy
   
3. Indian Air Force

Exam Stages:

1. Prelim Exam
   
2. Main Exam
   
3. Physical Test & Personal Interview
