I have a weak eye sight and i wear a specticle of power 3 for having a short sight. i wanded to become an aeronautical engineer.is this a problem?please help me.

No, being an aeronautical engineer with short sighted eye is no problem. If you want to be in a flying branch then there would be an issue on your eyesight. Moreover i am AEROSPACE Engineer with eyesight of power 4.5....
So don't bother about eyesight if u have interest then go for it....

hi,
There is no problem in doing aeronautical engineering with low eye power. But if you want to join the Indian Air Force then you are not eligible for that.

You can join company like:-
-Air India
-I.S.R.O
-I.S.A.T

hi my son is in 11 class , and he want to become an enginner, unfortunately his eye site is 6/36 in both the eyes, my question is.
1, canhe become an engineer or not.
2. what are the job prospects with this low vision.
kindly advise me.
he is interested to mechanical engineering first and then do post graduation in electronics.
