Your age now 18 years old , so at the time of NDA I exam in 2013 your age should be reach 19 years old.So at that time you are not applicable for NDA exam.Because the maximum age limit for this exam is 19 years old.

If you are really interested in defense line then you can go for graduation degree .Because after Graduation degree you have chances to go for defense sector through CDS ,AFCAT ,UES exam.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as NDA I and NDA II.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam. Candidates who desire to join the Army wing of the NDA must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream. The certification must be from a recognized board or university. Those who aspire to join the Naval Wing and the Air Force must have a pass in class 12 in science.


Age Qualification for NDA Entrance Exam

Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

Age Limit for NDA Exam

the age required to appear for this between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates.since your date of birth is in 1994 hence in 2013 your age will be 18+ years.so,you can apply for NDA-1 in 2013 but may not be eligible for NDA -2 exam.

so,you are eligible for NDA-1 exam which will happen next year.But you need t fulfill certain eligibility criteria to be eligible to give the exam.

---> you should be having Physics,chemistry,mathematics to apply in all the three branches namely Army,Navy Air force.

---->you should have passed the intermediate from a recognized school of a board.

---->if you are having non science (PCM) branch in XII then can apply only for army academy.

----> you have not mentioned about your branch in intermediate so that i can tell you if you can apply for Indian Millitary Academy or navy or air force.

--->only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.

---->citizens of India and subjects of nepal,bhutan,tibet can also apply.

UPSC conducts NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam two time every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible for NDA the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical Fitness.

The candidate should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

As per your date of birth as on 10.07.1994, you will be over 19 years as on 10.07.2013. So you may be eligible for the NDA-I 23013 exam which is going to be held in the month of April 2013.

Hence be updated with the official website of UPSC as the notification for this will come out in the month of December 2012.

Otherwise if you are interested for Defence service then you can apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted by UPSC twice every year after Graduation.

The age limit for appearing in NDA exam is from 16 and a half yrs to 19 years at maximum.
So, if you appear for NDA exam next year after crossing 19yrs i.e the exam is conducted after 10th july, 2013, then you are not eligible for it because you will have crossed the age limit required.

Other eligibility criteria for appearing in NDA exam are:

-> only unmarried male candidates allowed
-> 12th class/equivalent passed certificate conducted by state board/universities
-> candidates appearing for above examination can also apply
-> candidate must be physically and medically fit according to the prescribed standards

There are three wings in NDA:-

AGELIMIT for NDA: For NDA Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no relaxation in Age for any category candidates.
