My age is 20yrs can i apply for nda,, can you tell me how should I apply for NDA?

As you mention here your age is 20 years old.
Age limit of nda exam :- 16.5 to 19.

Qualification :- Candidate must complete 10+2 .

No,You are Not Eligible to Apply for NDA Exam.

NDA i.e National Defence Academy Examination is Conducted by Upsc.

The candidate should have a completed their 12th from a Recognized board Or Equivalent Qualification.

And The Age should between 16.5 To 19 Yrs.

So,You have Already completed 19 Yrs,So You are not Eligible to Apply for NDA Exam.

If You have Interested defence service go for CDS Exams....Or go for IAS IPS Exam.

Minimum 21 yrs of age for Civil Service Examination.

*Age limits, sex and marital status:Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

So, concluding the above criteria you are not eligible to appear in NDA.

UPSC conducts the NDA Examination twice in a year.

And to apply for NDA examination, You have to complete your 12th first And your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

But Your age is now 20, So you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination.

So, please apply for Other examination, You can try for UPSC civil services examination, if you have complete your graduation. But sorry to say, for NDA examination you are not eligible.

Hi friend,

Sex, maritial status and age limit for NDA exam in 2011 is unmarried male

candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January,

1996 are eligible. This means your age limit must be 15 to 19. So you are not

eligible for NDA.

Procedure to apply:

Candidates may apply online using the website

applications are available on the above mentioned website

Candidates may also apply offline in the common application form

devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from

the designated head post offices/post offices (specified in appendix-III of

the notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 20/- (Rs

twenty only). Each such form can be used only once and only for one

examination

In case of any difficulty in obtaining application forms from the

designated HPOs/Pos, the candidates should immediately contact the

Fee:

Candidates applying online are required to pay a reduced fee of

Rs 50/- (Rs fifty) only either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by

cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master

Candidates applying off-line (through common application form) are

required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only) through central

recruitment fee stamp only.

SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

The National Defense Academy recruits candidates through entrance exam conducted by union public service commission.To be eligible for the exam, you must be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years-19 years. Since you are 20, you won't be eligible for the NDA any more but you must not be disheartened by this.
If you want to join Indian Army, there are various other ways apart from NDA.
As the NDA recruits +2 qualified candidates, the Indian Military Academy recruits candidates with bachelors degree. To join IMA, you will have to write Combined Defense Service examination conducted by Union public service commission.
To be eligible for the exam, you must be within the age limit of 19-24 years and must hold a bachelors degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Candidates holding a degree in engineering are eligible to join Indian Army directly as commissioned officer in the technical department. The eligible age for the same is between 20-27 years.

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the admission
in Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA. To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

As you are of 20 years , I think that you are not eligible for NDA exam because the age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years.

Apart from that the minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass students with physics, chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-70%.

A candidate has to also undergo physical requirements.

Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

Eyesight should be 6/6.

No, you can not apply for the NDA exam as the age limit should be not more than 19 years.
A candidate having age of 16.5-19 years are eligible for the NDA exam.
This exam is only for the boys not for the girls.
From this exam you can get into the Air force, Navy, and Army.

sorry you are not eligible for N.D.A exam. for applying N.D.A your age lie between 16.5 to 19 and you completed your 10+2 . But dn't worry you have another chance if you want to join army you can apply for C.D.S after completion of your graduation.

1)The age criteia for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY is:
16 and a half to 19.
and as you specified your age is 20 so you are not eligible for nda.

2)if you really wanted to serve in defence forces then you can apply for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVIES EXAMINATION whose form comes twice a year.

3)you can fill up the form of cds only after graduation.

Well sorry to say but you can not take NDA exam.NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year and eligible students can apply as many times as they want there is no limitation for it but they should be eligible

NDA Eligibility ::

Your age should be atleast 161/2 years should not be more then 19 years
You must have completed your class 12th from recognized stream with any stream only for army .

As you are of 20 years so sorry to say you are not eligible to take NDA exam but do not worry there are other way too .you can join army through CDS exam but for that you have to first done your graduation and your age should be between 21 to 24 years for army

for NAVY AND AIR FORCE you must have mathematics and physics in class 12th .

sorry to say dear you are not applicable for nda exam because you have crossed 19 years,

the age criteria for nda is 16.5-19.

After graduation you may apply for nda.
