NHPC stands for the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation. The eligibility criteria for the NHPC:

>>Candidate must have passed full time regular bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, B.Sc (Engineering) or AMIE.

>>Candidate must have scored minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

>>Candidate's age must be less than 30 years on the April 1 of the recruiting year.

You must have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Candidates from the given below disciplines from:

1. Electrical Engineering.

2. Mechanical Engineering.

3. Civil Engineering.

So, candidates from Electronics and Communication Engineering can not apply for the NHPC jobs.

As you are a ECE student ! you are not eligible because NHPC means >>>>
