Yes, you are eligible for Ph.D in Physics or related subjects. Selection to the course will be done on the basis of entrance exams. Universities conducts own entrance tests. Details on the exam can be collected from the official portal of the concerned University. Syllabus for the exam is mostly based on the topics covered under M.Sc program.

PhD is a doctorate degree and is mainly pursued by those candidates those who are interested in career in academics. Yes you are eligible to pursue a PhD course if you have completed your masters degree in a similar field or stream in which you want to pursue your PhD degree.
