Re: How can I get admission to study correspondence PhD in Physics being a Lecturer?
There are many Universities in India which offer admission in distance learning Ph.D program. You must have Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University in India. Admission is mostly based on the entrance exam conducted by the distance University. For example, IGNOU has its own entrance exam for giving admission in Ph.D program. Along with the entrance exam one has to appear for interview.
Those with NET/SLET/JRF qualification are eligible for admission without appearing for entrance exam. They can apply for direct interview and performance in it will help them to get admission. Hence, if you don't have these scores then try to get it because it will make your admission lot easier. |
