The eligibility criteria to apply for post of Assistant Engineer in Central or State government is as below:

Academic qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technology from a recognized university.

Candidates studying in final year of technology are eligible for this post.

The age limit is 21-30 years.

The upper age for OBC is relaxed by three years and five years for SC/ST candidates.
