i had score 50% in 12th so can i attend the cds exam?

CDSE: Combined Defence Service Examination

The CDSE is conducted by UPSC twice a year.

There is no any percentage restriction to appear for the exam.
Whether it is 10th or 12th or Graduation.
You should have passed all the exams.
There is no percentage restriction in CDSE at all.

You can apply for the exam either during your final year of Graduation or after
completion of graduation.
All graduates can apply for the CDSE exam.
There are four wings of CDS.
1. Indian Military Academy
2. Air Force Academy
3. Indian Naval Academy
4. Officers Training Academy.

The Educational Qualification required for CDSE is as under

Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy
Graduation in any stream

Indian Naval Academy
B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Air Force Academy
B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

The age Limit for the four wings are as under;
Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 years

You are not eligible to apply for this examination because this examination is only for the graduate and engineering candidates.So,you can't apply for this examination.After completing graduation you can apply for this examination but this time you are not eligible to apply.

But you are eligible to apply for N.D.A examination.N.D.A examination is one of the best defence service in the Union Public Service Commission.It is same like CDS examination but it is intermediate level that is (CDS) examination is graduation.If you are interested apply for this examination.This examination is conducted to join in various course like Army wing,Navy wings and Air force.

To apply for N.D.A examination,you have a completed intermediate(12th) examination,then you are eligible to apply for this examination.If you are come from science stream you are eligible to apply for all this examination(Army,Navy,Air force).But you are come from commerce stream you are eligible for Army services only.To apply for this examination,your age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years,there is no relaxation applicable for the reserved categories.candidates who are appearing in the final year of 12th examination can also apply for this examination.

u can attend but will not be eligible for ssb interview if qualified the minimum requrement is graduation but u can try for nda

To appear in CDS exam , no such 12th percentage marks is required.

All you need is you just have to complete the graduation.

After completion of graduation or being in final year of graduation , one can apply for CDS exam.

So, don't worry my friend , just go for it.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CDS EXAM

CDS exam is mainly considered for three important job postings which as follows...


-> I.M.A and Officer's Training Academy.

-> Indian Naval Academy.

-> Air Force Academy.


-> For above three job grades you need to complete a equivalent degree to give the exam...

For the CDS exam the minimum qualification required is graduation so there is no need that how many marks you have got in your 12th class. The minimum mark required in graduation is 60% without any backlog. This exam is conducted by the upsc every year so you can get more information on the upsc website here www.upsc.gov.in

C.D.S stand for Combine Defence Services.
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

You are not eligible for C.D.S exam.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year
> Medically fit
> Must be citizen of India.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for CDS exam because you have just completed 12th standard.Only graduate with Maths candidate are eligible for CDSE exam.

CDS Educational Qualifications :
1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy : Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. ( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry.

3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of recognized University ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age-limits:

19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

Scheme of Examination:

Written Examination

(a) For Indian Military Academy , Naval Academy and Air Force Academy

1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type) 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks

Total 300 Marks

(b) For Officers’ Training Academy

1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge (Objective type) 100 Marks

Total 200 Marks

C.D.S. EXAM.(I), 2012

• Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 12.02.2012

Sorry to say but you cannot attend the CDS Exam on the basis of marks obtained in 12th.

The Minimum educational qualification required for CDS Exam is graduation from any UGC recognized university.

The Union Public service Commission Conducts the CDS Exam every year two times in December and June.

Only those canddiates are considered eligible for the CDS Exam who fulfill the below mentioned :

* Graduation with Mathematics as one of the main subjects from any recognized college/university.

* Age must lie in between 18-24 years.

* Nationality : Indian

* No Relaxation in upper age is given.

* No Fixed number of attempts for the exam.

* You must maintain a good mental and physical status.

Dear firend you are not eligible to apply CDS exam for completed 12th class with 50% marks

because this examination is only for the Graduate and Engineering graduate candidates only.

CDS stand for Combine Defence Services.

Combine Defence Servicesexam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Sorry you are not eligible to attend CDS Exam for secured 50% in 12th class.

You can apply for the NDA exams just after passing class 12th

Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams is:

Education:

Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.


Age-
Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014

Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams

Male candidates are only allowed to apply for the NDA exams

Selection Procedure involves:

>> SSB interview
