Re: Can I apply for CDS exam after passing 12th class exam in PCB
CDS stands for Combined Defene Services. This exam is being conducted twice a year to recruit the candidates into following defence services.
-Indian Military Academy -Indian Naval Academy -Indian Air Force Academy -Officers Training Academy The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for this exam is by completion of Graduation. But as per your profile, you have completed only 12th class. In that case, you are not eligible to apply for this exam. Opt for the stream in Graduation in accordance with the stream in 10+2 and then you can apply for CDS Exam. However you can make entry into the following defence services by cracking NDA Exam. This is the common written exam to recruit the candidates into Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing You should have completed your 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing. You should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects to apply for Navy and Air Force wings. You should be in the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to give this Exam. As you have completed your 10+2 in life sciences, you are eligible to apply for only Army wing. if you are interested, you can apply for this Exam. Wish you all the best. |
