Re: Can I become an IAS Officer with Intermediate CEC course?
If you want to become an I.A.S Officer you have to appear and qualify for Civil Service examination.
It is conducted by UPSC. The eligibility to appear for examination is that : Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. There is no limitation on discipline and aggregate of bachelor degree to appear for examination. So, now you need to focus on your preparation for examination. Candidates need to maintain consistency during their preparation for examination. For syllabus and any other information regarding examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

The minimum age limit is 21 years. You can take any group in 10+2 either it is Science with PCM or with PCB or Commerce or Arts stream as per your interest. Subjects combination in 10+2 has nothing to do with Civil Services exam. |

There are three stages of this exam: Preliminary exam. Mains exam. Interview. Graduation in any discipline is required to appear for this exam. You can take subjects or stream in 10+2 or Bachelor's degree in which you are interested because UPSC has not specified any preferred subjects or stream. |
