Re: Which course should I take for IAS? I have done 12th with CEC?
There is no specific subject to purse Graduation Degree in order to become an IAS. After 12th, you have to complete Graduation Degree in any stream in which you are cofortable.
IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. The enligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. There is no such rule that you should do any course to become an IAS officer or to take IAS.
The only qualification is you need to be a graduate from recognized university. Civil service exams are conducted by UPSC. This exam is conducted conducted every year to recruite IAS,IPS,IFS officers. The exam is conducted in 2 stages:- 1)Preliminary and 2)Mains. |
