B.Ed. - Bachelor of Education is a teacher's training course of duration one year and can be taken after Graduation from general stream.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with 50% marks from a recognised University within the age of 40 years, is eligible to apply for B.Ed. Most of the Institutions conduct entrance exam for admission to B.Ed. course. |

Hi,
Bachelor in Education course will give the candidate knowledge on teaching methods and the different aspects related with teaching. Delhi University B.Ed entrance exam is conducted to admit students for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) in different colleges affiliated withDelhi University. The exam is organized every year by University of Delhi. The exam notification is usually available in the months of March/ April and the exams are conducted in May/ June. As for the eligibility criteria, the candidate must be graduate in any discipline from any UGC recognized University. DEAR FRIEND,
YES YOU CAN DO B.ED AFTER B.A Eligibility for Admission to the Course: he candidate should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the X and XII examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree examination of UGC approved Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education level. Candidates who have passed the UG or PG degree in Open University System without qualifying in 11 years SSLC examination and 1 year of Pre-University Course (PUC) examination or 10+2 pattern of school education examination shall not be considered for admission. However, candidates not qualified in XII examination or PUC but possessing Two Years Bachelor Preparatory Programme Certificate/Two Years Foundation Course Certificate/Two year foundation Course conducted by State Government/recognized Universities and qualified with three years UG degree course are also considered eligible. Candidates who have studied more than one main subject in Part III (under Double/triple Major System) of UG Degree course have to choose only one of the main subjects and should have applied for that Optional only. In such cases, marks obtained by the Candidates in Two/Three major subjects shall be taken into account to arrive percentage of marks stipulated in (vi). Candidates who have passed under Double degree/Additional Degree programme with less than three years duration are not eligible for admission. THANK YOU |

YOU HAVING 49 PERCENT IN B. A AND 50 PERCENT IN M.A CAN ALLOW FOR B.ED Following are the list of Universities which offers B.Ed program and are well recognized: Delhi university St,Xavier's of Education, Mumbai University of Mumbai Aligarh Muslim University, UP Mahatama Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, UP Anna University M.S.Ramaiah College of Education Jammu university Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College. Yes you can do B.Ed course after your B.A in General as the criteria says that : Eligibility: > > A Bachelor’s or higher degree from a recognized university in any discipline. > > B.Ed duration is of 2 years . > > Your age mus be above 21 years , in time of taking admission > > There is no upper age limit . Yes, you can do B.Ed. after completing B.A. General Degree.
B.Ed. stands for Bachelor of Education, is a training course for Teachers whch can be taken after Graduation. i have done b.com and now i am doing b.ed from rajasthan. If i do b.a additional in eng or math subject after b.ed. Then would i be eligible for 2nd grade gov teacher in concerned subject.

Hi I have completed B.A. with 49.22 % marks. As to apply for B.ED required ,min. 50 % marks.
So can you suggest what should i do ??? I have to do again B.ED or i can do B.A. additional & with B.A. additonal can i apply for B.ED. Please guide. |
