Sure you can pursue a B.Tech since it is a recognised institute. You can apply when you are in the final year of the degree course too. You need to appear for the lateral entry exams. Also for most of the exams you need to have at least 50% marks in the diploma course.

Yes,B.Tech can be done after Diploma but i am not sure whether in Gopalpur ,this is facilitated or not.I am pursuing B.Tech and some of my friends had done Diploma before B.Tech

Going for B.tech is a good decision. You need to decide from which college you would like to pursue the course. Based on that you will be required to appear for an entrance exam. Since you have a diploma background you have an advantage of using the lateral entry scheme. As per this you can directly enter into the second year of engineering. For the engineering colleges within Bangalore there is the State Level Test.

you need to have atleast 60% marks in diploma
You will get admission in B.Tech on he basis of your rank in LEET

After completing diploma you must have atleast 60% marks in diploma
and should not have any back log pending in diploma., if there will be any you need to clear it first before ou can apply for B.Tech.
After diploma you will have o appear in Lateral Entry Test(LEET) o take direct admission in B.Tech second year.

In final year Diploma you can apply the exam for the lateral entry in that exam you can directly enter into the B.tech second year.

Yes, you can do B. Tech after diploma from NTTF, Gopalpur as it is a recognised institution. For this you have to appear for entrance exam conducted by various engineering colleges and you can be admitted directly through lateral entry into the 2nd year of B. Tech course as you are a diploma holder.
