Dear friend,

Your percentage is good enough to appear for any exam.
But friend just doing 12th you can not appear for IBPS exam.

I would like to tell you that IBPS has made changes in the eligibility criteria which is going to be followed from 2013.

Earlier for Clerical cadre exam you required just a 12th class degree but now you need graduation for this. So i would advise you to first complete your graduation and then apply for the exam.

Now Eligibility Conditions for both Clerk & Probationary Officers is same.

Here I am providing you the basic eligibility criteria for both Clerical cadre & PO exam:-

** You should have done your graduation with 1st or 2nd division marks.

** Any stream students can apply for the exam.

AGE LIMIT:-

21 to 28yrs for General.

There is an upper age limit relaxation given in case of reserved categories.

It is 5 yrs for SC/ST.
3 yrs for OBC.
10 yrs for PH.

Till previous examination of IBPS for Clerical Grade the minimum academic qualification
required, was 10+2 but from the next IBPS examination (application process already
started) this minimum academic qualification required, has been changed to Graduation.

Therefore, you present qualification does not meet the eligibility criteria of any
IBPS examination. You will be in a position to apply for IBPS exams only after
completion of graduation degree.

Hi

You cannot do IBPS as its not a course. IBPS stands for the Institute for Banking Personnel Selection and its one of the MOST REPUTED Entrances for the recruitment purposes in the Indian Government. Its an organization which conducts entrances for the various banking recruitment.

You must know that if you wish to take up a banking job, then there are 3 entries in a bank and they are :
CLERK
PROBATIONARY OFFICER
SPECIALIST OFFICER

Now all these posts have different Eligibility Conditions and criteria's which has to be satisfied by the applicants to successfully attempt the exam. Now as you have not mentioned the post for which you wish to apply, I am unable to give you exact details. However according to latest notification, IBPS has changed Eligibility Conditions which states that even for the Clerical posts ONLY graduates and above qualified persons can apply.

So I am really sorry to say that you cannot take up IBPS after passing Class 12th Higher Secondary. Even final year candidates who are in the last year of their graduation also cannot apply for this exam. So you have to be a minimum graduate in ANY stream from a recognized college or university to take up the Clerical/PO Entries in the IBPS. However the SO entries have specific Educational Qualifications.

All the best
