Sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for IBPS exam. IBPS usually conducts written test for the position of clerk/P.O. for both the profiles, graduation in any subject is the basic qualification required. Candidates must satisfy age qualification also. Upper age limit for P.O position is 30 years and that for clerk is 28 years.

You can only appear for the exam after completing graduation. I believe you are talking about the IBPS Clerk exam which used to allow 12th pass candidates to appear.

However upon the request from the participating banks, Institute of Banking Personnel Services has changed the criteria and now only graduates are eligible for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam.

You will have to complete graduation to appear for the exam. Any graduation degree will be good and after that you can apply for the IBPS Clerk. This exam is conducted twice. First time in March and second time in somewhere around October.

BPS Clerk Eligibility

1. Nationality: Indian citizens only.

2. Education: Bachelor degree which is completed from recognized college.
