Hi i am hSSC passed students and age is 28+ , in this situation can i do llb ? Please tell me

Yes you can pursue an LLB course. This course has no age restrictions. You may have to pursue a correspondence course for institutes like IGNOU. For this course a score of above 45% is sufficient to apply. You must check the eligibility criteria of the institute where you wish to apply.

The Bar Council of India (BCI), which governs standards of legal education in India, introduced a 20 years age limit for the five-year LLB course and a 30 years age bar for the three-year LLB courseA person has 2 options :

1. either choose to study Law after 12 th wherein it will take that person to a 5 yrs course which will conclude as an LLB grad
2. to study for Law after any degree & it will take that person for 3 yrs to complete the LLB.

The minimum requiremnts in an average University /college is 45 % in 12 th.

But if planned to join NALSAR /NLSIU & other biggies in the filed then you will also be expected to give the Common Entrance Exam for Law.

I'm 39yrs old now. I have 47% marks in H.S. and 35% marks in B.Com. From where can I pursue 3yrs LLB? The course must have Bar Council's approval for registration at Bar at Law.

I am Deepak Bhat 28 years of old want to join three years LLB course. After completing this course my ase would be 31 years. In this context I shall want to ask you that- for registering the Bar Council of India and practising the legal profession does bring the age limit for me? Please clarify my doubt.
