graduates in any stream can apply for MSW. you should have 50% mark for your graduation. some colleges have entrance exams and interview. all the best.

First try to complete B.COM WITH GOOD %. Whether you'll do well or not depends upon your interest and hard work. Some Universities in South India Provides M.S.W With specialization like human resource management, community development and medical and Psychiatric Social work. Which specialization you are interested in? . Accountancy is a totally different field and Social work is different. So plan well your career.

We B.com bachelors have given only the option to apply for M.COM/ MBA/ MFC... & infact the most probs arise when thr r limited seats in kashmir university available.. what courses are available for b.com student.

I need suggestions and ideas regarding my career.

In 2007-X passed with 65%,
2009-XII (commerce) passed with 76%,
In dec'09 passed CA-CPT,
(not joined any graduation course yet),
But unfortunately i am unable to clear CA-IPCC till MAY'13 though i took 6 attempt to clear CA-IPCC Group-1 in MAY'13.
Group-2 result awaited now,
Joined training called ARTICLESHIP in december'13 in mid size firm.
& since it is getting risky so i joined BCOM-FP FROM SMU correspondence in july 2011.
Now i m in VI SEMESTER which will be completing in june/july'14.
Though i can take admission in regular course as i like to pursue MSW.

I AM FEARING IN CHANGING MY STREAM AT THIS STAGE & ALSO DUE TO 2 YEARS GAP & GRADUATION IS CORRESPONDENCE BUT I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE,
PLEASE SUGGEST ME, ANYBODY IS WELCOMED.

MSW stands for Master of Social Work.

The qualification required for MSW is Bachelor of Social Work degree from a recognized Institute.

The candidate who have a Bachelor's degree in Humanities / Social Science / Science / Commerce or Management subjects can also apply for this course.

The candidate who have a background in social work, psychology, social science, sociology or any other related fields get preference with respect to others for getting admission in this course.

Yes, you can surely apply for MSW (Masters in Social Work) if you have completed B.Com Accountancy with at least 50% marks. You need to apply for admission when notification is released by the respective University and you need to appear for the entrance exam for admission at top colleges.

Once you clear the entrance exam with an excellent rank you will become eligible for admission through counselling. Just make sure you are well prepared for the exam because there are limited seats available at top colleges.
