Re: Can I do Regular MBA course having completed B.Com course with 44% of marks?
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to join regular MBA course as you have scored just 44% of marks in your Graduation course with B.Com.
Have a glance over the eligibility criteria to join MBA course. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% of marks. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category. Age criteria : -There is no specific age criteria required for the candidate to join this course. One can join this course at any age. You can get admission for MBA course depending upon your performance in any of the Entrance Exams -CAT -MAT -GMAT -SNAP -FMS -XAT etc. Even for state level entrance exams also, you need to score a minimum of 50% of marks in your Graduation course. So, I suggest you to try to get admission for this course in deemed universities where there is no percentage criteria in Graduation course. You can also try to get admission for this course under Management Quota of any of the colleges which will give admission for this course without considering the percentage of marks in Graduation course. Having completed B.Com course, the following specializations will be better choice for you in MBA course. -MBA in Finance -MBA in International Business -MBA in Accounting -MBA in Risk Management -MBA in Entrepreneurshp Management Try to join this course in a good college and make most out of the course. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Can I do Regular MBA course having completed B.Com course with 44% of marks?
You can indeed to Master of Business Administration through the regular mode. Even if you have completed graduation from correspondence or distance education, it does not mean that you will have to complete post graduation from same mode.
There are entrance exams for Master of Business Administration and you can apply for them. Some examples are: CAT GMAT JMET SNAP ICET TANCET MAT XAT You can not appear for the CAT which stands for Common Admission Test. Although CAT is the first preference of the candidates due to Indian Institutes of Management. You can not appear because your marks in graduation are not sufficient enough for this entrance exam. CAT Eligibility 1. You must have graduation degree. 2. 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need 45 percent marks. You can appear for the Management Aptitude Test. Although can't take admission for Indian Institutes of Management with it. Still there are several good colleges that will offer you admission. Apart from MAT you can also appear for Xavier Aptitude Test. For both these exams there is no percentage criteria in graduation. |
