Can I be eligible for MAT after scoring 49% in B.Com?


I have scored 49% in B.com. am i eligible to give MAT ????????

There is no percentage criteria to be eligible for the Management Aptitude Test.
If you are a graduate, in any discipline, you are eligible to take the test.
Therefore, as per your qualification, you are definitely eligible for the test.
The upcoming Management Aptitude Test-MAT is going to be conducted 05-02-2012.

Dear Aspirant ,

Percentage of marks is not mandatory for MAT Examination if your qualified in graduation then your eligible to apply for the Examination .


MAT :- Management Aptitude Test . It is an Management Entrance examination which is conducted by All India Management Association for four time in a year during the month of February / May / September / December . If your aspiring to apply for MBA course then you should qualified in MAT Examination with good percentile of marks .

Eligibility Criteria :-

MAT is approved by Ministry of HRD, GOI as a National Entrance Test.It is an Management Entrance examination which is conducted by All India Management Association for four time in a year during the month of February / May / September / December .

Yes, you are eligible for MAT exam after secured 49% marks in your B.com as there is no percentage criteria to be eligible for the Management Aptitude Test.

The eligibility for MAT exam is as under-

1. The applicant should be complete Bachelor degree in any discipline like , B.com / BBA / B.sc / B.A etc.. from recognized university .

2. Final year candidate are also eligible to apply for the examination .

3. There is no age bar. Job experience is not necessary.

  • Total number of questions: 200; 40 in each section
  • Duration of the MAT: 150 minutes.
  • Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 negative marking on wrong answers.

yes absolutely you are eligible for MAT as the criteria for MAT is 45% marks in bachelors degree.As you have 49% marks so you can apply for MAT test.
