It is quite impossible to join to third year of degree after diploma. Diploma holders have the option to join to 2nd year of degree through lateral entry scheme. Usually candidates with a minimum of 60% marks in diploma are considered for admission. Entrance test are usually conducted for admission to engineering degree. Punjab University, Thapar University, etc are examples of Universities that conducts entrance test for admission.

You said you completed your degree in computer science .Just you completed 12 th class.You cannot enter into 3 rd year degree you can enter into 2nd year of degree by ECET exam.So preaper for that exam

I am studying in last year of Diploma Mechanical Engineering. I have passed M4 (Maths 4) subject. May I get admission in third year of Mechanical Engineering? Kindly guide.
