Yes, diploma holders have the option to join 2nd year of engineering program. You can join B.Tech or B.E program through lateral entry. You need to attend and score enough marks in lateral entry entrance exam to have admission to the program. Thapar University, Kerala University, etc offer lateral entry admissions. More details on admission can be collected from University website.

please suggest me best college in india which provide lateral entry in mca 3 sem after bca and having entrance syllabus a/c to bca syllabus
and also entrance date for the same
