Yes, you can do MCA in Mumbai after B.tech from JRN .
MCA (Master of Computer Application ) is a 3 years program after graduation The eligibilityfor MCA is : 1. you must have maths at 10+2 or graduation level 2.you will have to go through the entrance exam |

The courses offered in MBA in Mumbai University are given below: Masters in Management Studies This course is conducted at Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies. This institute is the department of the University of Mumbai, which focuses on management studies. Masters in Management Studies is a two year full time course that comprises of four semesters. Eligibility Criteria Any candidate who has completed his graduation from any of the recognised universities in India with 45% marks is eligible for admission for this course. Students who have or will be appearing for final year exams can also apply for this course. However, they should be able to submit their final year mark-sheets at the time of admission. Selection Procedure You will have to appear for a common entrance test (CET), personal interview (PI), and group discussion (GD). CET is an objective test, which comprises of questions on aptitude, logical reasoning, data interpretation, and reading comprehension. You will be selected on the basis of your performance in all three. Course Structure Masters in Management Studies offers specialization in: Marketing Human Resource Finance Systems Operations The first year subjects are common for all the students opting for this course. Some of the subjects taught in the first semester are: IT for management Financial Management Organizational Behaviour Marketing Management Operations Management Perspective Management Business Mathematics Along with these you will also have to choose two electives out of the following: Indian Ethos in Management Selling and Negotiations Skills Brochure Social Responsibility Projects High Performance Leadership Some of the subjects involved in the second semester of first year are: Economic Environment of Business Research Methodologies and Fundamentals of MR Market Applications and Practicals Cost and Management Accounting Management Information Systems Legal and Tax aspects of Business The electives available in the second semester are: Management Process Skills Foreign Languages (German, French, Japanese) Decision Sciences Analysis of Financial Statements In the second year, you will have to choose your specialisation and the subjects will differ accordingly. Master's Degree Programme in Financial Services Management (MFSM) This is a part time programme that is conducted for a duration of three years. Among all the universities, only Mumbai University conducts this programme. Eligibility Criteria Any graduate from a recognised university can pursue this programme. Selection Criteria You will have to attend the Common Entrance Examination (CEE). CEE comprises of a written test, personal interview, and group discussions. The names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed by the university and these candidates will be judged on the marks scored in CEE. The written test will be objective. Admission Procedure Students belonging to the same university will have to submit a transfer certificate to the university from the college through which they completed their highest qualifying degree . Students coming from other universities will have to submit a provisional statement of eligibility. This will be done by the registrar of Mumbai University, provided that you submit certain documents required as proof of eligibility. Mumbai University students will have to pay INR. 50/- and other university students will have to pay INR. 220/- in cash for getting the provisional eligibility certificate by the registrar. Course Structure As this is a part time course, the classes are conducted in the evening hours and during weekends. Its primary focus is on portfolio management, brokering house, equity research, investment bankers, global financial markets, financial service sector. Some of the subjects taught during the three year tenure are: Financial Management Banking and Money Markets Analysis of Financial Management Mutual Funds Corporate Financial Policy Technical Analysis Special Studies in Financial Service Stock Exchange Development Banking and Financial Institutions Quantitative Methods of Finance Security Analysis and Portfolio Management Distance Learning MBA programmes from Mumbai University University of Mumbai- Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) provides opportunities for candidates who wish to pursue distance learning MBA programmes. Following are the distance learning courses at Mumbai University: Post Graduate Diploma Course in Financial Management (PGDFM) Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Research for Management (PGDORM) The duration for both these courses is two years and comprises of part 1 in the first year and part 2 in the second year. Eligibility Criteria Any graduate from a recognised university who have at least two years of work experience can apply for this course. Candidates who belong to defence sector and who do not have a graduation degree are admitted for this course. Fees The fees for first year for both the courses is INR. 4,285/- and that for the second year is INR. 3,710/-. Though a distance learning programme, regular counseling is given to the students. Study materials are also supplied to the students at the addresses mentioned by them. Some of the subjects that are included in PGDFM course are: Management Accounting Financial Management Management Information and Control Systems Basic Cost Concept Taxation Some of the subjects that are included in PGDORM course are: Advanced Operations Research Managerial Economics and Accounting Business Mathematics Use of Computers in Operations Research Statistics for Management Integrated Approach to Operation Research A degree of MBA in Mumbai University is a recognised degree not only in India, but also overseas.
