how i become CBI officer...
i m dng MBA in hr and marketing...but i want to become CBI OFFICER.....
give me the suggestion and also understand me the whole procedureat 1st step to last step for become CBI OFFICER........

CBI exam is conducted by SSC.

SSC stands for Staff for Selection Commission.

SSC exam is conducted once every year.

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

If you are graduated from any recognized university with any discipline, then you are eligible for CBI exam.

But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.

Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited.

For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be in citizen in India.

The selection process is contain in two stage.

First stage is written test which consists of General questions(200 marks) and ENGLISH (200marks).

The second stage is Interview.

CBI stands forCentral Bureau of Investigation.

To become a CBI officer if you are completed your graduation then you have to apply the CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) which is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Eligibility details:-

The candidates who wants to apply this exam should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Percentage is not important to apply this examination.

Candidates must be an Indian origin.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 20 years to 27 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Selection process:-

Central Bureau of Investigation and it is a leading agency for investigation which comes under the control of the Indian Government.

• Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination.
• Those candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.

AGE LIMIT : 20 - 27 years
Upper age relaxation will applicable SC/ST candidates for 5 years and OBC candidates for 3 .

Following are the eligibility criteria for CBI exam

- You should be graduate
- You should be graduate from recognized college/institute
- you should have atleast 50% marks in your graduation
- your age should not exceed 25 years
- Relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC

Since you have done MBA, and want to go for CBI, you will have to make trade off between CBI and MBA. Your MBA degree will of no use.

Please think carefully about this.
Also by the time you finish your MBA, you may cross 25 year

To become an CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams
This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014

Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> English Comprehension
>> General Awareness
>> Quantitative Aptitude
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning

Minimum height required for CBI post:
Male -165 cms
Female -150 cms
