Re: Can I get any Scholarship being a candidate pursuing M.Sc in Mathematics?
Now a days, there are scholarships being given by State Government and with that scholarship you don't need to pay any fees and the entire fee will be refunded to the college.
However there is some minor fees which you need to pay like -Building Fund -Exams Fees -Project Fees etc. In addition there are some local chartiable trusts which you can approach for Scholarships. They would consider your merit and accordingly they will award the scholarships. In current scenario, the number of seats in the colleges are more than the number of students who are going to join M.Sc Mathematics. I have seen some colleges which are giving Rs.10000/- amount for the candidate for getting joined in that college. The candidate don't need to pay any fee and in addition, he would receive this amount from the college. Colleges are doing this just for the fulfillment of seats. If you are economically not sound, then you can choose such type of colleges. Mostly these colleges are the newly started colleges or the course might have newly taken in the college. |
