BAMS graduates can try for the position of Ayurvedic Doctor or Medical Officer. Health and family Department under state PSC often offer such opportunities. Other than this, you can try for a job in industries manufacturing ayurvedic products. Panchakarma centers and Pharma companies also offer adequate career opportunities. Recent reports show that BAMS holders are employed in BPO sector also.

With post graduate degree in Ayurveda you can commence your career as a teacher/instructor in Government ayurvedic colleges and institutions. You may also be recruited as medical officer in government ayurvedic departments like CCRAS, GAMC, etc. which is generally followed by written entrance examinations and interviews.
