Can I get into NIT Warangal if belongs to ST caste?
Sir, I got 77% in Telangana board & 10+2 marks in JEE. I'm belongs to st caste. So can i get nit warangal as per my qualification mentioned?

Admission in NIT Warangal is based on normalized score of 10+2 and JEE Main Score.
Normalized score is formed after giving 60% weightage to JEE Main Score and 40% weightage score to 10+2 marks. So, if you have secured decent marks in JEE Main (say above 200 marks), then you may get admission in NIT Warangal on the basis of your ST Category. If you wish to appear for JEE Advanced Exam, then you will have to pass the cut-offs of JEE Main. The cutoffs of JEE Main Exam 2015 were: CML - 105 OBC - 70 SC - 50 ST - 44 |
