MAT Stands for Management Aptitude Test and is conducted by All India Management Association for admission into MBA (Master of Business Administration) program offered by various recognized institutes.
Candidates willing to pursue MCA (Master of Computer Application) may take the tests mentioned below:

• NIMCET
• All India MCA Common Entrance Test
• Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination
• Vellore Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Examination
• Common Entrance Test/Joint Entrance Test conducted on State Level by Directorate of Technical Education of respective states.

I have got aggregate of 49.67% in BA in the year 2011.
am i eligible for giving MAT exam which is going to be held in May 2013?

MAT is a totally different entrance exam. MAT stands for Management aptitude test and it is conducted by All India Management Association. MAT is a entrance exam to enter into MBA course and that is why MAT exam is not at all necessary for Master in Computer administration.

Eligibility of MAT is as follows :-

1. A candidate must be a graduate
2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university
3. 50% marks in case of General or OBC candidate
4. 45 % marks in case of SC/ST
5. Any stream student can write the exam
6. Good communication skills
7. Any experience would be an added advantage

MCA entrance exam is a different exam and it can be done by going for a exam named AIMCET.

MAT - Management Aptitude Test conducted bt AIMA(All India Management Association) for admission to MBA(master of Business Administration) course.

MCA - Master of Computer Application is a thre years Post Graduation Course for which you can apply for its entrance exam like:-

NIMCET
Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam
-VIT MCA Entrance exam etc.

You can not give MAT Entrance exam for MCA as MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test and MCA stands for Master of Computer Application.

MAT conducted by AIMA(All Indian Management Association) for admission to 2 years MBA(Master of Business Administration) course.

For MCA you have to crack entrance exam like:- NIMCET, All India MCA Common Entrance Test, State level Joint Entrance Examination for MCA etc.

The acronym for MCA is Masters of Computer Applications.

Sorry to say that you cannot give MAT entrance examination for MCA.

MAT examination is conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association) to get admissions for two yrs MBA course.

The eligibility criteria required for MAT examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any approved university.

* Final year contendors of graduation are also eligible for this examination.

* The graduation certificate must be from an institution that has an approval from the HRD Ministry, Government of India.

* Contendors can apply for this examination as many times as they wish.
