i have passed 12th board exam with 60.8 percent from bihar board in 2009 but i passed 10th board exam with 72.5 percent from bihar board in 2006. In duration of 2006-08 i was suffering from depression and some other mental problems so i was not able to appear 12th board exam in consecutive year. I have all my doctor treatment certificates of a government pshychetrist. I have once already appeared in iitjee 2009. AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPEAR IN IITJEE 2010.PLEASE REPLY SOON

Yes Ankesh,

You can appear in IIT JEE 2010. Do not take tension if you were not able to appear in 12th examinations (in the consecutive year) due to some medical problems. It is very good that you have all Medical Certificates along with you. You can show them to the University Administration wherever and whenever they will ask for it.

you have passed 12th in 2009.IIT give two chance for appearing.so that you can appear for IIT JEE 2010.also your 12th percentage is 60.8 and criteria is 60%.

also you can appear twice in consecutive years after 12th if your don't cross the age limit.

Ya you can appear in IIT-JEE ,it dose not your fault if your health is not good for a year.so do not take tension ok.all the best....

there are only two attempts for iit jee....ie...two consecutive years after 10+2......so it doesnt matter if u have taken drop before appearing for10+2 that too with a genuine reason.......

you can write the IIT-JEE-2010 because you are fulfilling all the conditions like:

you should have scored more than 60% in 12th

and have not attempted for two times after completion of 12th in consecutive two years.

but there may arise some problems due to that drop that you took after 10th,for that you can talk to IIT-JEE authorities for clarification:

yes you can write IIT-JEE as you have scored more than 60% marks in 12th. here your age dosent matter the thing is a candidate can write IIT-JEE two times in his life time so dont take tension and apply for it as soon as possible

actually iitjee looks two consecutive year after 12th not after 10th,
so do not worry,
you can give the exam of iit jee.
so prepare for it without any such doubts,because it will harms your study.

i think u cannot be attempting the exam because only two consecutives years u are allowed to write ..after that there is no chance..

the criterion is that a candidate gets first attempt with 12th and second attempt just the next year.

i think you are asking about the process of entering iit Bombay through jee,
well its very simple ,you have to get good rank in iitjee and then go for central counselling there depending on your rank you will be alloted the branch and iit ,
there you can opt for iit Bombay

better you see the eligiblity of iit exam on iit website..
you will get thru your question.as i have listen, there are only two attempts, but, it has been never mentioned that you cant give the exam if you taken a gap due to sm reasons.

I gave 12 th exam in 2010. i didn't give iit 2010 for some reasons. How many chances remain for me for next iit.

according to the new scheme there will be on,y two attempts allowed for one candidate ....in two consecutive years after attempting and clearing the 12th standard board exams......

so if you have missed for last time .....you can definitely apply for next years iit jee exam.....

you can give IITJEE 2010.

To be eligible for admission through IIT JEE a candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Besides that a candidate should not be more than 25 years , Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 can appear for IIT JEE.

There are 2 ways to enter IIT Bombay

1) through JEE : Work hard for IIT JEE, try to clear it and if you are in top 1000 then you can chose to be in IIT Bombay

2) Another way is through MTech. Try to clear GATE with a good rank and score so that you get an entry into IIT Bobay without any hiccups

IIT can be given in two attempts. first while appearing for your 12th board exams and 2nd time the very next year. if you took a gap after 1st attempts then you lost the chances of giving it again.

yes you can give two years the exam.
one as a appearing candidate,plus one year after.

yes you are elligible for iit jee 2010..but if you miss this one then you wont be able to give it in 2011..so leave all the tensions behind and work hard to get into iit..

yes u can attend iitjee more than once but only twice i think!!!! all d best....

Yes definately you are eligible for IIT JEE 2011,and IIT JEE 2012. But if you didnt answer JEE this year then only you can appear for 2012 test otherwise 2011 is sure.

yes you can give iit jee exam but the only thing which matters is your age.you must check whether you have crossed age limit or not.otherwise there are two chances for iit exam and you can utilise your second chance.all the best

No you can't give IIT JEE exam.
The can be made in two consecutive years one with 12th and other in the next year.

dont worry ! God is with you dear. You can very well apply for iitjee this

year. The only thing is that you have to show all your medical certificates

to the authorities concerned. In the otherway all are ok.

i passed my class XII with 94% in 2009 and appeared for iit jee in 2009 once. however, i did not clear it. can i appear for the exam again after a gap of two years in 2011 which will be my second attempt.

it matters dat after passing 12th u have 2 attempts ie consequitive means if u passed in 2009 thn u can give only jee 09 and 10
