I am studying in 12th, can I write AFMC exam?
My date of birth is 06/04/93.But at present i am studying in 12th standard.Can i write AFMC examinatin for the year 2009-2010?

sorry stella,
you are not eligible because your age is below 17 years.and age criteria for Armed Forces Medical College exam is minimum 17 years. you can apply for next year examination. best of luck... |

You will be eligible for AFMC-2010 entrance examination.
Because A student has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year. All the Best@@@@@@@@@@ |

you should be within the age of 17-22,.. and you should be unmarried,..and you will not be permitted to marry before completing,... you should be passed with minimum aggregate of 60% of marks with the subjects english,physics,chemistry, biology,... All the Best and Be the Best,... |

the minimum age for afmc exam is 17 years.
as you are not seventeen wait for one more year. keep preparing well and apply for other medical exams like aims,cpmt etc. |

Since you have not completed 17 years of age you are not eligible to attend the afmc exam so better prepare yourself as you have a year time in between and then apply in the next year.

You should have passed all the subjects i.e. physics,chemistry,biology in the first attempt of qualifying examination.Also you should have secured atleast 60% marks in aggregate and atleast 50% in each of these subjects individually.Also it is important to nate that you should get 50% in english.......age limit is 17yrs to 22yrs..........Bset of luck!

your age is not 17, so you cant apply for AFMC in 2009-10, but you can apply in 2010-2011 session |

you can't apply for this session, you have to wait for 1 year to appear for AFMC exams, but don't get dishearted and take this i year period as bonus time for your making your preparations. all the very best for your upcoming exmas. |

hi stella according to your date of birth, you have not completed 17 years of your age.
and the basic criteria for writing AFMC is to be in the age range of 17 yeras -22 years. so better luck next time and utilize your one year for preparation,because AFMC is not a easy nut to crack!! |

hi,
you are not eligible for the session 2009-2010, since you have not completed your 17 years of your age. but you will be eligible to write the AFMC for session 2010-2011. there is an upper limit also that is 22 years. best of luck |

sorry to say but you can write the AFMC exam this year as your present age is 16 so you cant write this year,so its better to leave this year and try for the next year.

Eligibility criteria:
A candidate must have attained at age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010 and should not be more than 22 years on 31st December, 2010. Besides a candidates should not be married and cannot marry even during the course. Also a candidates should be medically fit according to the specified standards. Candidates should have passed all the subjects in the first attempt of qualifying examination and should have secured atleast 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and atleast 50% in each of these subjects individually and also in English. |

soory you are not eligible for the exams
just wait for one year & prepare well through this one year then youn can surly crack AFMC study 11 to 12 hours daily that is the least you can do. best of luck |

Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.
AFMC Exam 2010 Age Limit: Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent |

for the mbbs entrance exam by afmc for the year 2010 , the age of the candidate should fall between - 1st january 1989 to 31st december 1993.

for most of the exams such as AIIMS
AFMC etc minimum eligibility of age is that you should have attained minimum 17yrs of age so sorry you can not apply you can apply after giving your 12th exams |

u dont satisfy the eligibility criteria, though, u can appear next year if u have scored first divison, i guess there are 25 seats for girls and they are granted permanent commission

i am sorry dear that you are at present not eligible for the exam as i think you are younger in age to sit for the exam, as they require at least 17 years of age for appearing in the exam but you can try for other exams and aplly for AFMC next year good luck to you bbye take care...till then prepare because the paper standard is quite goood and yo have to be relly precise in answering questionss....

if only your age Must be 17 years of age then you can write. but if your age is above 22 then you do not write..... you can also search internet and collect information about the AFMS exam... all the best. |

As you have to write the exam for the 2011 batch here are the eligibility qualities
Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2011 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1990 and not later than 31 December 1994.
