hello sir, i am pursuing B.E. final year.
i am very much interested in joining Air Force.
can you tell me about the exams related to Air Force which are going to held in 2010 so that i can apply for those exams.

well to join the air force you could have applied for CDS,the last date for which is over this year,this exam is going to be held on feb 15,
you could apply for next cds which will be held in month of august

UES : university entry scheme is a scheme for graduates to entry into defense,you have to pass entrance ans ssb interview and medical test for it.

There is one more oppurtunity for you,through fast track entry scheme,which is for engineering graduates.

after BE you can either go for CDS exam or can directly go for UES where the officials will be coming to the college and will have a screening test ....all those who clars it will be called for ssb directly.......
keep looking for the add in the employment news.......

you should 60% marks in all years of engg..........check the advertisement in newspapers like employment exchange...........or you can go for cds exam.

YES u can be a air warrior...for this look out the newspaper daily there are many entries vaccant u can apply for them in ur btech /b.e final year government open many entries for the desired ones .u can join airforce as a officer as wellas as a technician.fill the forms no entrance exam only ssb if qualified so will be selected in airforce.u can apply for airman also vist www.carrerairforce.nic.in

Yes you must join airforce by technical entry scheme, the announcement for the exam is announce in the employment news and officail website <www.careerinairforce.nic.in> the exam will held in two month in every year.

MBBS is definitely better than BDS no doubt in that,
all the medical exams are quite competitive and there is no easy exam ,you have to prepare hard for all of them

cpmt is definitely the toughest exam in India for medical stream students and then AIIMS comes next.

definitely u can join air force...u r BE student so u can go through UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME.air force recruits engineer through campus placement .u r eligible for both SSC and long service commission...CDS is also another option

there are some exams like CDS AND IAF-EKT EXAM THROGH THESE CAN JOIN air force.

2)UES-- university entry scheme.it is direct SSB according to your marks in garduation.

remember one thing that if you want to be a pilot then you have to have 6/6 eyesite.

Hello Friend of course you can join Air Force after completion of your graduation, there are number of requirements at ground duty level, flying level and technical level and for that you need to clear CDS exams next year as this year's last date for applying is expired.

apply for CDS exam for entrance in INDIAN AIRFORCE.

if u want to become a pilot u can become in air-force,navy and coast-guard. naval pilot is the most prestigious one. u will find different advertisement for these forces for different corps/branches .....CDS/ENG entry/admin/stat/ etc.....keep a watch on employment news

Yes, B.E students are surely eligible to join air force.
Eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Air Force are-

Age- 18 to 28 years.

educational qualification- 60% marks in B.tech or B.E. in the field of Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering....

Yes off coarse you can join air force.

For the joining you will have to fill up the application form of CDS conducted by UPSC.

Yes. You can join air force. You can write the CDS Examination conducted by UPSC or SSC Examination. My suggestion is, You can apply for technical branch in airforce.

It seems you are late for the 2010 entry. And you have mentioned that you are in 2nd year. You have 2 or 3 more years to complete the course it seems. Only after completion of course, You can apply for these entry examinations.

Anyways, You can enter into IAF through CDS Examination conducted twice a year by UPSC and also through SSC. Do check the following website of career in airforce :http://careerairforce.nic.in/home.html for clear details.

Do complete your course with good percentage to make a neat entry.

you can go for the air force after the BE,BUT For this you have to give the exam of the UES organized by the Indian air force,or you can also,join through passing the exam of the cds which is organized by the upsc.so just go prepare well.

eligibility: unmarried indian citizen(men and women)
age limit: 19 to 23yrs
education: maths and physics at 10+2 is a must.. any graduate is elligible
selection process:
1. through CDSE exam after graduation or
2. NCC entry( only men with C certificate) or
3. SSC entry

after passing any of these rounds, candidates must appear for PABT( pilot aptitude Battery test) this has 2 stages.

will be notified in all leading newspaper

candidates in final yr of graduation or completed graduation are elligible

Defenently.first of all you have to pass engineering with 60% marks.
you may join by these exams.
1.CDS:-this exam conduct by upsc.first you have to write written exam.after that u will select for interiew if you qualify in written exam.lastly you have to attend for physical test.physical handicaps are not allowed.already airforce companies are displayed which they want in physical test.
So maintain fitness.this is must for joining in airforce.

yeah you are absolutely eligible for joining the air force. just after completing the b.tech you can give the exams.there is a exam named c.d.s exam for the b.tech students to sit for the exams.there are limits for the exams.like you can give the exams for a limit of years.so best of luck for your future.
