Hello Sir,
m student of B.Tech 3rd yr (I.T.)branch.being an engineering student,m interested in joining air force as an pilot.i would like to know basic requirement and procedure for it.
sir,m having high power,can i join air force by doing laser?
will laser fine in air force?

For becoming pilot after Engineering Graduation you must apply for CDS exam and AFCAT.

CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC and AFCAT is conducted by Indian Air Force.

As you are an Engineering Graduate so you are definitely eligible for Air Force pilot posts. All you have to to is crack these examination with good marks.

Age Limit:

For becoming Pilot in Indian Air Force you must aged between 19 to 23 years. There will be no age relaxation if this exam.

Selection Procedure:

-Written Exam

-SSB

-Medical Examination

Since, you are in the B.Tech that is Bachelor of Technology you are eligible f or this exam after completing your B.Tech only.......

For that you have to apply for the AFCAT Examination. AFCAT stands for the Air Force Common Admission Test. this exam is conducted for Three post 1). Flying Branch, 2). Technical Branch and 3). Ground Duty......

Eligibility for Various Branch:-


Flying branch:-

>>> For applying Flying Branch of Air Force a candidate must have completed their Bachelor Degree in Engineering that is B.E/B.Tech from the Recognized Universities.

>>> For Flying Branch age of candidate should be between 19 to 23 years....


Technical Branch:-

>>> For the Technical Branch of Air Force a candidate must have completed their Bachelor in Electronics Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering from Recognized Universities......

>>> For Technical Branch age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years....


Ground Duty:-

>>> For Ground Duty Branch a candidate must have completed their Graduation degree in any discipline from recognized Universities applicable.....

>>> For Ground duty it is between 20 to 25 years....
