I was having a question that does private banks and international banks conduct exams for recruitment as PSU banks operating in India

yes, even private banks conduct exams like PSU's eg. ICICI bank, AXIS bank all these conduct the exams and you can get details about the ICICI exams at http://www,icicicareers.com

Yes, every national and international private bank conducts the exam at the time of recruiting and after that interview will be taken of those candidates who select in the written exam.
The minimum qualification for the bank exam is 12th class and the minimum age is 18 years. For the bank exam preparation you can take help from the previous papers and RS Agarwal book and Upkar publications books.
