I am 12th commarce pass can i join indian air force? i am very much interested to get into airforce.

Can a 12th Commerce student join Indian Air Force (IAF)

Basically there are two mode of entries into IAF after 12th.
NDA

Eligibility: Candidate you had passed/appeared class 12 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate can appear for Navy & Air force wings.
TES

Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed class 12th at least 70% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.


So, you can see that only Science candidates are eligible to join IAF after 12th. Therefore, to fulfill your IAF dreams you have to be at least a Graduate, whereas for more better prospect a CA or Law graduate. Then you can join IAF in there 'Logistics' as well as other good departments.

Yes You can join Indian Airforce.

sorry to say but, you are not eligible for indian air force . only science streamed students (with maths) can apply for IAF with at least 60%.

but after graduation you can apply for CDS examination for military wing.
with in the age limit of 19-25.

no. you can't join Indian Air Force having completed 12th Commerce.

after completing 12th with science students are only allow to join in the Indian Air Force, through the NDA exam.

as you are belongs to Commerce field, so you are not eligiable for the NDA exam.

the eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is given below

1.Candidate should belong to XII science with PCM suject choice.

2.Minimum 60% marks in class XII exam.

3.age limit 16.5-19 years.

4.minimum height 165cm.

if you have the following criteria then only you can join Indian Air Force having completed 12th.

No, you are not eligible for IAF after completion of 12th commerce..

Because to go for Indian Air Force one must have physics and maths in 12th..

But you can go for IAF , after completion of graduation through CDS exam..

So, if you really want to join in IAF then go for graduation first..

and maths background can apply for this

-a candidate's age should not be more than 21 years....

i.) Height : minimum 162.5 cm and more than this
ii.) Weight : in between 60 to 80 kg
iii.) Vision : minimum visual acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in another eye


2. Ground Duty Branch :

1. Age ::

i. For graduates :- 20 to 23 years
ii.For post-graduates/LLB :- 20 to 25 years
iii.For LLB after gradi=uation :- 20 to 26 years
iv.For MA/Phd/CA/iCWA :- 20 to 27 years


2. Educational Qualification ::

i. For Administration :- Graduate degree in any discipline with 60% in aggregate or post graduate degree in any discipline with 50% in aggregate.
ii. For Accounts :- B.Com with 60% in aggregate or M.Com/CA/iCWA with 50% in aggregate
iii. For Meteorology :- post graduates degree in any discipline with 50% in aggregate.
iv. For Education :- post graduates degree in any discipline with 50% in aggregate.


3. Physical Standard ::

ii.) Weight : in between 60 to 80 kg

Educational Qualifications:-
You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final year students can also apply.

But as a commerce student. you have not study Physics . So, you are not eligible for the Indian Air Force.

You can join Airforce after 12th commerce by writing NDA exam. It is conducted by UPSC every year. The educational qualification is 12th standard. The age limit is 18-21 years.

Yes...You are eligible to join in INDIAN AIR FORCE.

You want to join in INDIAN AIR FORCE you need to apply for the NDA exam this exam conducted by the UPSC twice a year.Candidates who completed the 12th standard in any stream those candidates are eligible and age should between 16.5-19 years.Candidate should be a citizen of india,unmarried male candidates are eligible.

You can not join Indian Air Force having completed 12th Commerce through NDA. Those candidate having PCM in 12th can join IAF.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness, is eligible to apply for Indian Air Force of NDA.

Being a 12th Commerce candidate can apply for Indian Army of NDA.

You can join Air force through CDSE & NDA conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria for Air force :-

The candidates should have a 19 years to 23 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Graduate or Engineering degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification with Physics and Mathematics in 12th level.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

Basic eligibility required for NDA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.

I am sorry to inform you , but only Science students (applicants having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2 ) are eligible for Indian Air Force. So, Being a commerce student, you are not eligible.

The eligibility conditions are as given below :-

> Applicant must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2 done from any recognized board/university.

> Applicant may apply before graduation (Through NDA) , after graduation, or even post - graduation.

To join Indian Airforce one to crack the NDA entrance exam .

the NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC.

The eligibility for the NDA entrance exam is one should be
12th pass from any discipline for the army wing and
12 th pass with Maths and Physics for the Airforce and naval wing

As you are the Commerce student , I am sorry to inform you that you wont be able to apply for the air force wing .

But you surely can apply for the army wing.

You can have the PCM subjects in 12th standards.

Commerce students are not eligible to join the Indian Air force.

NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e.

NDA - I

NDA - II

NDA has three wings:-

Indian army,

Indian airforce,

Indian navy.

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognized university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

PCM subjects are required for the Indian Navy & Airforce wings.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no upper age relaxation.

For India Airforce and Navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army.

Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible.

Selection procedure:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

Syllabus:-

Mathematics--> 300 marks,

General ability--> 600 marks.

Sorry to say this you can not join in Indian Air Force with 12th commerce stream. Because to join in Indian Air Force you must be completed 12th standard with PCM(Physics,chemistry,Mathematics) subjects from recognized state board.

Indian Air Force details:

To join in Indian Air Force first you can crack the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. i.e. NDA I and NDA II.

Because for Air Force and Indian Navy, you should have studied Physics and Mathematics in intermediate, which you have not.

NDA- National Defence Academy, is the exam through which you can join Indian Defence after intermediate.

You can join Indian Army with any subjects studied in intermediate.
