# It is good to know that you are interested in joining Indian Air Force.
# First of all, I would like to make you aware that there are three options before you for joining Indian Air Force which are: * National Defence Academy (NDA) * Open Recruitment Drive by Indian Air Force * By joining Air Force Academy through Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination # Please note that candidate who have completed 10+2 or appeared in 10+2 in any stream are considered eligible for NDA Examination. Being commerce student, you are also eligible for NDA Examination. # For Open Recruitment Drive conducted by Indian Air Force itself, candidate must have completed 10+2 in PCM stream with minimum 70%. # For Air Force Academy through Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination, one should possess any engineering degree or B. NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army. Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. |
