Iam a B.sc(PCM) graduate with 50%marks. can i join indian army through cds exam. i have not join N.C.C.

To appear in CDS one must have passed graduation and also you have to be 19 half to 23 half years of age...

There is no percentage criteria required in level of education...
If one joins NCC there will be some seat available for it but its not mandatory...

Buy a UPSC examination form in the month when CDSE exams are gonna published in leading employment newspaper.after having this form fill it properly.and try to score maximum

The results will be out 1 - 2 months after the exam.then you need to go for SSB(service selection board) .Selection will be on criteria basis.
Get selected there.
Should be medically fit.

Hii Aagni,

After completing the BSC . you are egilible for the army..
some time their is not percentage criteria or the last maximum criteria is 50% . so their is no problem for you ..

and doesn't matter you have any NCC certificate ir not if you have potencial you clear the exam without any support.

through CDS exam you could enter in army..there is no educational criteria like percentage but you passed graduation

dear since you are graduate so you are eligible to get into indian army.......
fior this you must be medically fit.......
you have to give the exam conducted by SSC or UPSC.........

offcorse u can, no percentage bar..but try to get maximun marks in cds entrance as this entrance test marks will be added into the final merit after the ssb.al the best

if one have his weak eye sight (-0.5) will he be select or not ??
and due to knock knee and one feet flat he is going to be selected or not?????

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services .UPSC holds the CDS exam prominently known as UPSC CDS Exam .Through this exam candidate can join any defense services .
The eligibility criteria depends on the different defense services .

Indian military academy (IMA) -
Age limit = 19 to 24 years .
Candidate should have a degree from recognized university .

Naval Academy -
Age limit = 19 to 22 years
Candidate should have complete B.TECH/BE/B.Sc

Air Force Academy -
Age limit = 19 to 23 years
Candidate should complete BE/B.tech/B.Sc .

So there is no percentage is required according to the notification .
That means you are eligible for the CDS exam .

To appear in CDS you should have the following criteria:
1. You should have passed graduation.
2. Your age should be within 19 to 23 years.
3. You should be medically fit.

There is no such certain percentage that you must have.
The exam is quite tough.
So, prepare yourself.

I am happy to say that you are eligible for Indian Army after passing B.Sc minimum 50% through C.D.S.
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C.

The candidate who apply C.D.S exam must be in between 19-24 year.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2012
Date of Notification:-02.06.2012
Last date of receipt of form:-02.07.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-16.09.2012(SUNDAY)
