No, You are Not Eligible to apply for NDA Examination !!

NDA : National Defense Academy !!

This examination is Conducted by UPSC Twice in a year : NDA (I) and NDA (II).

To apply for this examination, You have to complete your 12th examination form a recognised board. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for This examination. But You have completed your 10th examination, So you are Not eligible for NDA Examination Now. Please complete your 12th examination and then you are eligible to fill the NDA Application form.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA.

To apply for this examination, you must have attained the age of 16.5 Years and Not have attained the age of 19 Years. No Upper age relaxation is applicable for any Category candidates.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA exam.

Because you have just completed 10th standard .The eligibility criteria for NDA exam are given below.

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

The minimum qualification for nda exam is 12th.you must passed with physics&math.but it has not any age limit it wants 12th pass with physics and math.

UPSC Competitions

There are two competitive examinations conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for which minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass or equivalent examination. First examination is Special Class Railway Apprenticeship Examination which is conducted once every year by the UPSC. The candidates in the age group of 17 to 21 years on August 1st the year of examination are eligible. All candidates with 12th class or equivalent with 1st division (any subjects) are eligible; candidates having second division with Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry as one of the subjects are also eligible to compete. The examination is held every year generally in the month of July and every candidate is tested in seven subjects including English, Mathematics (2 papers), Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge and Psychological Test.

Second important competitive examination conducted every year by the UPSC is the National Defence Academy Examination. This examination is generally conducted twice every year during the months of May and November and the candidates are tested in Mathematics and General Ability tests. The test on General Ability includes questions on reasoning, intelligence, General Knowledge and English. All unmarried male candidates with 10+2 pass are eligible for Army, Navy and Airforce, while for the Executive Branch course at Naval Academy, the candidate should be 10+2 examination pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. All those who pass the examination are then required to undergo a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview and a detailed medical examination before joining as Cadets at the National Defence Academy (NDA), Kharakvasla (Pune). After 3 years at NDA and one year in the Military, Naval or Airforce academies, the cadets are commissioned into the services as Second Lieutenant/Acting Sub-Lieutenant/Pilot Officer respectively

Sorry its not possible to go through the NDA exam after completing your 10th.You can only apply for the NDA course if you have completed or pursuing your 12th from PCM(Physics,Chemistry,maths) stream.
How to Apply-
You should go through the 12th in PCM Stream and then you can apply for the exam.Even if you are pursuing 12th class ,you can apply.You have two options either to apply online or through post.
You may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website.
The applications are available in the central/head post office of your city.The duly filled application form should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure to the following address:-

No friend, You can't appear in NDA exam after 10th std. For appearing in NDA exam the eligibility criteria says that you must have completed your 12th std and your age must be above 16.5years and below 19years. So i would suggest you to do your 11th and 12th std if you are so sure of appearing in NDA exam. If you want to join in air force or navy through this exam you must choose science as your stream in 11th std.

sorry! the minimum eligibility criteria for giving the NDA exam is given as below:-

-the candiadte must passed class 12th with 60% minimum marks.
-the age limit for the candidate is 16 1/2 - 19 years .
-the candidate must not be physically handicaped.
-the candidate must be a citizen of india..

so, the candidate who fullfill the above criteria can give written exam for NDA...

I would gate above 95%in ssc 10 examination, how i can join NDA after 10 or i should study furtherand if i studied further then to which side i have to go. Please guide me sir
