Even after passing 10th with a percentage of 80 you are not yet eligible for joining in Indian Navy

Indian Navy is one of the defence force of India

By writing the NDA Exam you can join in Indian Navy and as you have asked how,it is that you need to satisfy the framed eligibility criteria for the exam for joining in Indian Navy as there are some.


They may include such as:

> Martial Status

To tell detailed about the qualification needed it is that;

• You need to be a citizen of India
• You must be a unmarried male candidate so that you will be eligible.
• The age limit needed is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years
• Education qualification needed for joining in Indian Navy is that the candidate must have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subject.
• You need to be physically fit as it is very important

So,for applying for the NDA Exam you need to satisfy the above mentioned criteria and for it you need to complete your +2 and then apply for the exam.

I am sorry to tell you dear that you can not go for Indian Navy or NDA after 10th even though your percentage in 10th is very good. If you have to go into Indian Navy than you will have to first do +2 with science and mathematics. Than you can give NDA test. Your age should not be more than 19 years and less than 16and a half. You should also satisfy other necessary conditions and rules of NDA. You can check them from the website www.upsc.gov.in.

can I join after Class X having 80% Marks?

no,you can not give the NDA entrance exam to join Indian Defense services by giving the entrance examination which is conducted by union public service commission (upsc) twice every year.with this one can join the three defense services of India namely...

>>Indian army
>>Indian navy
>>Indian Airforce

one can only join after Class XII and for that first one needs to be eligible to write the exam and hence to write the exam one needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below....

Educational qualification---
candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university.

Age limit--
the age required to appear for this between 16.5 to 19 years,including the limiting dates.

----------subject combination-------

• candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

• candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.

marital status of candidate-------
only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.

there is eligibility for NDA
Eligibility
*candidate should be indian
*candidate should be complete 12th class with maths and physics subject
*candidate age should be in between 16.5 year to 19 year.
*candidate should be male and unmarried. female candidate are not allowed.

For joining in the NDA you have to buy a NDA form from the Post office which cost Rs=450/- .
For entering in the NDA field you have to Qualify this Paper.

I am sorry even you score 80% in 10th class but you can not apply for NDA for Navey.
Because NDA exam required minimum qualification is 12th pass out students.
So first you have to do your 12th class then you can apply for NDA exam.
Other conditions for NDA:
Candidate must be Indian.
Candidate must be male unmarried.
The age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

paper i is mathematics of 300 marks
paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:-
part A is english of 200 marks

so total 900 marks

Then there is the interview session which will yield you more marks

There are two types of entry in Indian Navy through which you can join Indian Navy after 10th class. These entries are described below:

1.Type Of Entry: MATRIC RECRUIT

You can join Indian navy through the above entry scheme after
your 10th.This entry is is a non-commission type and the candidates
having minimum education qualification of 10th are eligible to apply for
this entry scheme.


AGE LIMIT

Candidate applying through the above entry scheme should have age
between 17 to 21 years.

2.Type Of Entry: MUSICIANS

You can also join Indian Navy in a musician trade through the
above entry scheme. Candidate should be at least 10th pass for the
above entry scheme.

AGE LIMIT

Candidate applying through the above entry scheme should have age

Dear friend sorry you are not eligible to apply NDA exam after passing 10th class because

the minimum Education qualification is 10+2 from a recognized Board for apply NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings.

For Navy / Air force wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination .

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam.

Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam.

if you want to join Indian navy,Army or Indian Air - Force after 12th that is

a very good career option for you . After 12th to join the Defense services . And as

you are a 10th candidate so you have to pass 12th first with science stream to join Navy .

but the students of the commerce and arts can only apply for the

Army in the N.D.A. The exam of N.D.A. is organised by the U.P.S.C. department of

India and two times in a year. You should be an Indian Candidate to apply for the

you have very good percentage, so you should have to apply for Indian army which require min. percentage of 75% , other option is that you can directly for NDA exam.

After passing 10th with securing 80% marks, one is not eligible to join Indian Navy as an Officer through NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Navy, must be an Indian unmarried Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness Test and Medical Test.
