Can I study M.Sc in Mathematics after completing B.Tech in Civil Engineering?


Sir,
I am doing B.Tech in Civil Engineering
but now I have an interest in Mathematics.
I want to do M.Sc in Mathematics.
Kindly tell me can I do M.Sc after my B.Tech?

Yes, You can your post graduation in M.Sc Mathematics if you are eligible.
But it is better to go with M.Tech rather than M.Sc Mathematics else your 4 years will be in waste.
M.Sc in Mathematics is also good but you have a chosen a domain but suddenly it is not that good to go with M.Sc.
M.Tech also provides various opportunities for you and also have good scope in future.
Civil Engineering is one of the great and evergreen department in the field of Engineering. You have lot of good scope in this Civil Field.
Many colleges are there offering M.Sc in Mathematics which is also has great scope in Future. Doing M.Sc in IIT is a great plus to gain knowledge as well as job.
