can I take admisson to B.tech in Mehanical after my diploma in automobile by lateral entry in govt. colleges of west bengle

HI..any diploma holder can take admission in the engineering course through lateral entry all over the country and become an graduate engineer .
its very good thing that you are planning to do an graduation after the completion of your diploma because many of the students do not think in that way an actually that's an very bad decision because the people who do not complete there graduation actually suffer a lot in the long term .
the people who do not complete there graduations do not get the proper promotion in what ever company they work and also there salary is very less than the people who are graduate and are never considered for the officers post and also they are not eligible to write the various government examinations like the executive trainee examinations for the public sector companies and also various union public service examinations like the Indian engineering services examination, Indian administrative services examination and the combined defense services examinations and also the Indian forest services examinations because all these examinations require the completion of the graduation which an diploma holder is not,
that's the reason why many of the colleges allow the diploma holders to complete there engineering by joining in the second year of engineering through the lateral entry scheme.
generally they conduct some entrance examinations and the admission is based through an counselling which is quite similar to the admission process of the engineering student who are doing there engineering after the completion of the 12th class and writing the various entrance examinations .this procedure is followed almost in all the states of the country and also in many national national universities
