You can take up any stream. You need to clear the CLAT (Common Law Admission TEST as you need to have cleared 10+2 in any stream as well as graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate. In general, you can apply for 5 years integrated course and also for 3 years course after graduation. Incase of regular course, your merit will be assessed through CLAT score. The entrance exams will have a paper of 90 minutes containing 150 questions.

If you have taken ARTS stream in the intermediate class then there is no problem for you as the minimum qualification needed to join this course in only Intermediate from any streams.

CLAT means "Common Law Admission Test" This test is conducted in India to allocate the seats for the LLB course which is a graduate degree course.

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is all Indian entrance examination to get admission in Graduate and Postgraduate courses, this examination is conducted by 16 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B. & LL.M.). Every year CLAT Examination is conducted by any one of the 16 Universities and now this year CLAT 2015 will be conducted by the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National University, Lucknow.

The application form for this year is already published and the online registration is already started, The last date for submission of online application form has been extended till 14th April 2015.

To apply for this examination You must have completed your intermediate examination (12th) from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks (40% marks are only applicable for SC and ST candidates) and your age should not be more than 20 years. If you have completed your intermediate examination with Arts, then definitely you are eligible for the CLAT 2015 examination.

If you have not completed your intermediate examination and interested to choose the arts stream, then definitely you can go for the arts in your +2 examination, because 12th is the minimum eligibility is required to apply for CLAT 2015 Examination.
