I just want to ask that can civil diploma holder take degree in architecture? and just want to know degree in archi -tec will or will not affect my career.

First thing I would like to let you know that to pursue degree in Architecture i.e; B.Arch ( Bachelor of Architecture ) degree course the minimum educational qualification required is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics as a main subjects with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Any equivalent degree holders are also eligible to pursue B.Arch. .

Now as far as you are concerned about your eligibility to pursue B.Arch degree being a Civil engineering degree holder then you are certainly eligible for pursuing the same degree course.

Further for pursuing the same degree course from recognized architectural colleges you need to qualify entrance examinations like NATA, JEE Paper II, etc. .

Yes you can certainly pursue a degree in Architecture ( i.e; Bachelor of Architecture degree course which is a professional degree course of five years ) to become an architect in future having completed your diploma in civil as the minimum educational qualification required for the same is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board. Students having equivalent degree are also eligible.

As diploma in engineering is considered equivalent to higher secondary school degree with PCM so you are eligible to pursue B.Arch.
