Yes, you can apply for NET entrance examination after completing MSW course. Any stream master degree students are eligible to apply for NET entrance examination.

National Eligibility Test ( NET ) which is conducted twice time of year by University Grants Commission ( UGC ). This will be conducted exam for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF ).

-Master degree from any discipline with at least 55% (50% for reserved category) marks in the qualifying examination.

-Those appearing for their final year master degree exams can appear for the UGC NET exam.

-Since, you have scored 56% marks in MSW course. Definitely you are eligible for UGC NET entrance examination.

-The age should not be more than 28 years to appear in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exam.

-No minimum age limit required for Lectureship.

Important:- The notification of this year December NET Examination is going to be Published soon in the month of October. So, please wait for the Notification.
