hi,

wht would be nature of the paper? i hv not done BED can apply for the TET? if i qualify the TET exam wht would be next step? Plz confirm i m waiting 4 ur valuable advice.

First of all, you cannot write TET without a B.Ed degree. A graduate or PG with a B.Ed degree can apply for the same. Along with this, B.Ed course should be passed with at least 50% marks. The pattern of TET will cover objective type questions. The general subject knowledge which will be tested in this exam are Mathematics, English skills, child development and pedagogy, environmental studies etc. 50% is the qualifying marks so as to apply for teaching posts in different schools. Selection for P.I and teaching demo will be done on the basis of this score.

The Full form Of TET is Teachers Eligibility Test.

This Test is conducted by the respective state Governments for the recruitment of teachers in Government Colleges / Schools.

The Minimum educational qualification for TET is B.Ed in any stream from any recognized university.

* The candidate must have completed B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks.

* Relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST candidates.

* No relaxation is given to candidates belonging to OBC Category.

* there is no age limit for the TET Exam.

No, After graduation degree completion you have to pursue B.Ed. it is compulsory. After B.Ed only you can apply for TET examination.
